I’ve never actually appreciated this one until recently when I saw how varied the green spots are on the leaves. The pink parts used to be splotches whereas now it’s just the midrib. I got this on sale from my fave plant shop Manila Jungle at probably half the price even if it is a relatively rare id.
I saw on reddit before that flowers bloom rarely when Aglao’s are indoors. This one has pushed flowers so often in the past months. It’s usually a sign for me that it’s healthy and that it’s ready to push out pups. It’s not so visible in the photo but she already has 3 pups growing with baby leaves.
Look at those flowers popping out. I don’t like how they look so I cut them off once they’re completely out. The leaves that come after the flowers are usually so small so I’d rather have beautiful leaves than underwhelming flowers.
